Hi, I’m Eileen

I’m a web designer and an acupuncturist based in the UK. I utilised my tech skills from a former life to get my own therapy business website up and running and now my aim is to help lovely people like you do the same.

I have a passion for both my therapy business and also have a geekie side! I couldn’t decide which I loved most and saw no reason why I can’t do both and now I help my fellow small business owners and practitioners create their wellness business website in a way that is as stress-free as possible.

When I’m not running my business I’m usually with my dogs or doing something outdoorsy – walking, running or trying to get a clear round in dog agility!

WordPress is the website platform that I know the ins and outs of and I can make your site not only look amazing but also have all the best functionality to turn it into your client generating workhorse. I also love to build on Squarespace and if you intend looking after your own site once it’s built then this is a great option.

Generally, once you’ve booked your date and secured with a 50% deposit, it can take as little as 2 weeks. However I would only advise allowing this amount of time if you have the capacity to get all the PreWork done immediately or if you are in urgent need of your site being completed. Generally I would say book your date allowing for the fact that prework needs completing to make the most of the actual Design Intensive days when your site is built – you need to consider brand colours, logos, images, copy/content, what pages you’d like, where you will host it etc. (Don’t worry, this is all done via a guided workbook and free mini-course, you just need to have the time to do it.)

Once you’ve booked your VIP date and secured with a 50% deposit, you will need time to get all the PreWork done. Generally I would say book your date allowing for ONE MONTH to complete the pre-work if you are fitting it around your usual tasks. If you can devote more time I would still think TWO WEEKS is realistic especially if you are starting with a blank canvas – you need to consider brand colours, logos, images, copy/content, what pages you’d like, where you will host it etc. (Don’t worry, this is all done via a guided workbook and free mini-course, you just need to have the time to do it.)

A mini-intensive gives you a 3-5 page website in 2-3 days and costs £599
A larger more complex site, 5-8 pages takes up to 5 days and costs £950
After booking and agreeing your needs you may think of extra requests. These may be charged at an hourly rate or a rate per extra page for example: iy depends on the complexity of the request really.

No, as you can see I have done sites for other small businesses including authors and road hauliers. However, as my background is in the wellness sector I do have particular knowledge and insight as to what a website needs.

Yes! It is good practice to set up a new site following best standard SEO practices. This includes keyword research, optimising images, adding alt text to images, making the site mobile responsive amongst other things.

A WordPress website does need regular maintenance and updates, not least for good SEO reasons. You will be shown how to keep your site up to date but you may choose to take out a monthly VIP maintenance plan so you don’t need to worry about it.
A Squarespace website requires no maintenance as such, which is appealing to many.
