Website Care Package

Monthly Maintenance

Your website needs regular attention – it can’t just be left to sit there without doing some essential maintenance. Your website theme needs to be kept up to date, as do the plugins that have been used for some of the functions on your site. For worst case scenarios you should always have a recent backup file of your site also.

What Are The Benefits?

If you are not comfortable with making updates and changes to your site, or you simply don’t have the time, then monthly maintenance might be the way to go. You won’t need to worry if your site crashes after making an update, or that the image you loaded is displaying landscape when you wanted portrait or that a link has stopped working or……. you get the point.

Search engines are not impressed with websites that just ‘sit there.’ They ultimately become ‘invisible’ so it is always best practice to add regular, fresh and relevant content for the benefit of your website’s SEO. A blog post is a good way of boosting SEO and so would simply adding in a new image. When the search engines do their ‘crawling,’ this new content is recognised and your site is more visible.
